Avantages et caractéristiques des plaquettes de frein en céramique

The biggest difference between ceramic and metallic brake pads is the extremely low metal content in ceramic ones. Metallic brake pads rely on metal for friction, offering strong braking force but heavy wear and noise. Ceramic brake pads produce no squealing during normal driving due to their low metal content. Friction coefficient is the key indicator of braking performance. Ordinary brake pads suffer from reduced friction coefficient at high temperatures, leading to weaker braking. Ceramic brake pads maintain a high friction coefficient even when the brake disc reaches 650°C, ensuring stable braking. Ceramic features excellent thermal stability, low thermal conductivity and high wear resistance, with a long-term working temperature of 1000°C. It shows minimal thermal fade during high-speed or emergency braking. With premium material properties, ceramic brake pads cause less damage to counterpart parts and have a long service life.

Compared with other types of brake pads, it offers the following advantages:

◆ Comfortable braking performance and quiet operation. Smooth, vibration-free braking, no damage to the brake disc, and minimized wear.

◆ Stable friction coefficient, excellent speed sensitivity, consistent high-temperature braking performance, and superior resistance to fade.

◆ Low dust generation and long service life.

◆ Free of asbestos and other toxic substances, safe and eco-friendly.
