On the morning of May 14th, a joint research team from the State Taxation Administration of Shandong Province and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, led by Zhang Qipeng, Chief Economist of the provincial tax bureau, visited Baofeng Company accompanied by Zhang Wei, Director of the Dongying Taxation Bureau, and other relevant leaders. The team conducted research on the company’s epidemic prevention and control, production and operation, as well as import and export trade.
Ma Baowen, Deputy Secretary of the Kenli District Committee and District Mayor, Liu Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Development Zone, Zhou Hongliang, Director of the District Bureau of Commerce, Ma Jian, Director of the District Taxation Bureau, Tian Shiguo, Chairman of Baofeng Company, and Gao Jifang, Assistant to the General Manager, participated in the research. The research team made detailed inquiries about the company’s import and export performance, foreign trade orders, problems to be solved and work suggestions, and carefully learned about the impact of the epidemic on the industrial chain as well as the difficulties faced by the company in foreign trade export and other aspects.

Thanks to sufficient raw material reserves before the Spring Festival and reliable industrial chain suppliers, as well as repeated additional orders from customers, the company’s export volume has increased instead of decreasing. Gao Jifang, Assistant to the General Manager, reported on the company’s export orders from January to April.
After listening to the work report delivered by Baofeng Company, Zhang Qipeng affirmed the company’s foreign trade export performance. He pointed out that amid multiple adverse factors such as international trade frictions and the impact of the epidemic, the export trade of Kenli District has maintained a steady upward trend on the whole, with remarkable achievements in stabilizing foreign trade and foreign investment. He stressed that confidence should be strengthened and innovative approaches adopted to address relevant issues. Taxation, commerce and other departments should give full play to their functions, coordinate and solve problems in a timely manner, provide maximum support to enterprises, and sustain the vitality of enterprise development. Tian Shiguo, Chairman of Baofeng Company, stated that the company will adjust its strategies based on actual conditions, conduct in-depth analysis of the current situation, and take proactive initiatives.
